'''The Alternative'''<br>We could also leave things as they are, with war and destruction randomly spurring up around the world, hoping it stays distant and far away from us and our families. We can continue to wait for our governments to figure things out. We can let people like George Soros and Balaji Srinivasan design [https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/george-soros the Open Society] or [https://thenetworkstate.com the Network State] for us respectively, and then accept our fate as to how we should live however it is ''others'' continue to design and decide for us.<br><br>Or, we could think, what is really stopping us from designing an alternate reality for ourselves? Putting together all that we have learned from failed systems and creating an entire new way of life? Is this not even worth an attempt at a global conversation? Wikipedia did it using this very platform, bringing together over 47 MILLION '''volunteered''' voices, to build the most thorough encyclopedia ever created by humanity. Can't we do the exact same thing, only now discuss our (unknown) future as opposed to our (known) past?
"An Open Invitation to Reinvent Our Reality"
Our votes have failed us. Is any governmental structure good enough anymore, regardless of where we live in the world? Are there any public servant and leaders doing the public any satisfactory service anywhere? Do we see action that we ask for or do we only hear about what we want, then constantly receive disappointing or even deceiving outcomes? I, a 45 year old Lebanese-born Canadian who has lived in West Africa and East Asia for the past decade, have certainly felt less than impressed by all government bodies that I have been exposed to so far.

Isn't it high time we give up on the archaic notion of electing someone to speak on our behalf? What good is the Internet if we can't put it to our service and use it for what our forefathers and predecessors could not possibly dream of - mass communication! We finally have the tools to speak for ourselves - so the only question is, what are we waiting for???

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they have failed miserably at doing so.

We can't POSSIBLY do worse than our governments seeing as how they STILL cause wars and destruction when our collective understanding reaches far beyond the intelligence and compassion necessary to avoid such illogical and universally unproductive self-harm. Let's take this opportunity to reinvent our reality. Redesign it exactly how we envision it to be - together, peacefully. There are no limits to our creativity - let's just get all our heads together and design the most relevant, modern, intelligent global reality we can possibly design for ourselves. It starts right here. With you voicing your thoughts on the matters that matter to us all the most.

== THE BLUEPRINT ==
A number of volunteers have brought to life a beautiful non-profit called Launchpad23. Under this umbrella, a weekly online virtual meeting is taking place to discuss ideas that can bring us together, collaborate, grow and move forward together. Though currently a small group of individuals from around the world, their voices bring us new perspectives in every exchange. If interested, I am happy to share with you the link to join this meeting (currently through MS Zoom and Google Meet).
This will be a living document and shapeable however we see fit; none of it is meant to be forever static; every part of this Blueprint is open to (and welcoming of) debate, critique, and most importantly, change.

The questions currently compiled for these discussions are below (The idea here was to leverage these "in-person" meetings to help us further the conversations here, so we may continue to track our advances and improve our blueprint designs for the alternate reality that we can envision together).
'''The Discussion and Debate Kickoff'''<br>''Imagine being a newborn baby with no knowledge of what life is like; only that you will (likely) live your entire life on this planet (we currently call) Earth. How would you want life to be? What would you create, build, engineer, design, explore, or how would you spend your time? How would you want your mother or father or daughter or son or friend or neighbour or stranger to be spending their time? How would you help them live, if you cared to?''

''Can we envision a different approach to value exchange and property ownership (and shared/common resources/services, nationless community delimitations, legislation, work, transportation/commutes), perhaps comparable to indigineous lifestyle, but can incorporate people's modern lifestyles? ''How can we maximize our human potential? At what point does human health or cognition begin to form? According to some child development theories, a psychopath that lacks trust and empathy can be created as early as ages 0 to 2 when not tended to as a baby crying for attention. This would mean that we would need to start from the very beginning of a human life and define how to nurture it to the best of our abilities to ensure everyone, everywhere has truly equal access to opportunity in maximizing their full human potential.''
What is a nation? What purpose does it serve humanity? If necessary, is there any other way earth can be delimited or attributed? Can we envision a world of diverse communities where people get to live next to neighbours with whom they share much more in common than they do now? What challenges do such changes pose? How can we transition from what we have today to a borderless world that we may envision?

The Big Question(s)

Do we know what world peace looks like?

Can we envision an entirely different approach to life on earth than the one we currently accept as the status-quo?

How would our planet function if we wanted everyone to have a good standard of living and quality of life?

Who gets to define a good life for everyone with precision?

Can any single person or group of persons have such answers ready for the entire world to accept and adopt?

The Call to Action
Though a seemingly ambitious objective, you and I can make it our mission to define such a world. An unprecedented, globally defined and accepted blueprint of what life on earth could and should be like.
The How
We can start right here, right now, until we're all good and ready to do whatever it is we all decide we need to do to get there, including all plans and strategies on how we will transition to this shared vision.
The more voices participate, the less bias, and more universal and inclusive our objectives will be. It truly is that simple.
The Alternative
We could also leave things as they are, with war and destruction randomly spurring up around the world, hoping it stays distant and far away from us and our families. We can continue to wait for our governments to figure things out. We can let people like George Soros and Balaji Srinivasan design the Open Society or the Network State for us respectively, and then accept our fate as to how we should live however it is others continue to design and decide for us.

Or, we could think, what is really stopping us from designing an alternate reality for ourselves? Putting together all that we have learned from failed systems and creating an entire new way of life? Is this not even worth an attempt at a global conversation? Wikipedia did it using this very platform, bringing together over 47 MILLION volunteered voices, to build the most thorough encyclopedia ever created by humanity. Can't we do the exact same thing, only now discuss our (unknown) future as opposed to our (known) past?
We Can Do Much Better
You know it. I know it. We all know it.
Every existing story we cease to believe in, strips away all power attributed to the authority in that story. From money, to nations, to sects and institutions, all those entrusted to lead are only in charge because we gave them that right, simply by believing that we need them.

We were all led to believe that "that's just the way it is; things will always be the same; it's human nature; those people over there are the problem."

...and we continue(d?) to believe this. I don't. Not anymore. Not for a long while now.

I hope you too will one day see what so many folks I meet all around the world already see - that change is easy in unity. Change can only happen when we (you and I) care enough to understand each other by carefully listening to each other. As in, the very thing we tell our kids to do: not judging a book by its cover, or letting the media and our so-called leaders continue to do the judging for us. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they have failed miserably at doing so.

THE BLUEPRINT

This will be a living document and shapeable however we see fit; none of it is meant to be forever static; every part of this Blueprint is open to (and welcoming of) debate, critique, and most importantly, change.

The Discussion and Debate Kickoff
Imagine being a newborn baby with no knowledge of what life is like; only that you will (likely) live your entire life on this planet (we currently call) Earth. How would you want life to be? What would you create, build, engineer, design, explore, or how would you spend your time? How would you want your mother or father or daughter or son or friend or neighbour or stranger to be spending their time? How would you help them live, if you cared to?

We need to start somewhere, so why not start with ourselves?

How can we maximize our human potential? At what point does human health or cognition begin to form? We already know that the parents health have a direct causation of a child's health at inception and throughout a mother's pregnancy. According to some child development theories, a psychopath that lacks trust and empathy can be created as early as ages 0 to 2 when not tended to as a baby crying for attention. This would mean that we would need to start from the very beginning of a human life and define how to nurture it to the best of our abilities to ensure everyone, everywhere has truly equal access to opportunity in maximizing their full human potential.

  4. Energy Sources including Regional Needs and their Dispersion
  5. Other Natural Sources including Regional Needs and their Dispersion
  6. Administrative Regions to identify global regional needs based on topology, weather and other environmental factors

  14. Human and Environmental Prosperity including Research and Development, and our Collective Human and Humane Advancement as a whole
  15. Culture as an umbrella for all forms of Arts, Humanely Evolving Traditions, and Celebration of Diversity

Each of these will evidently require Pilot → Migration → Transition → Exit/Revision plans (Preliminary Migration and Transition Plan) to bring us from the existing global state to our more desirable objectives.

THE BACKEND WISHBONE

The backend functionality, sustainability, theories and perspectives; the vision and mission, should we choose to accept it.

This collaborative MediaWiki approach to dialogue can help us ensure relevance and inclusion, especially as translation and accessibility software keep improving. Engagement and participation can inherently make us fully accountable for, and accepting of, the world we eventually rebuild together. Not one of us can figure this out alone - it must be a collaborative effort.

A Good Life Lived Truly Free

Curiosity leads to discovery.
Discovery sparks new feelings.
Feelings inform our learning.
Learning feeds our growth.
Growing urges creation.
Creation provides meaning.

So Living without Curiosity, Discovery, Emotion, Learning, Growth and Creation may lead to a mundane existence, perhaps devoid of meaning. Perhaps this is when we are most susceptible to manipulation. To believing others' stories as our own.

Life does not have to be a fight. We can all choose to make our life a never-ending dance. We just need to be curious enough to discover the frequencies around us and learn to surf them together; to grow together; to create together; to live freely, together.

It all starts with you and I respecting ourself enough to value our existence, without the need for anyone else validating or affirming this for us. You and I are important simply in existing, not because anyone tells us that we are. Not our priests. Not our politicians. Not our teachers. Not our role models. Not even our parents, guardians, caregivers or any other person we trust.

We value our existence by living our authentic selves, by being, ourselves at all times, and by trusting ourselves before anyone, or anything else. That is how we form a personal identity. One that directly and indirectly impacts our environment, whether we like it or not. Our environment will shape us, but our choices dictate whether we remain static with a fixed mindset, or we self-actualize through a growth mindset. The choice is ours, and ours alone to make.

We are all teachers. We are all students. Be curious. Stay curious. Don't just observe. Don't be shy. Participate. We all need you to jump in, if we are ever going to figure this out together.
