Is OneHouse free?

OneHouse and all its blueprint projects are currently, and always will remain free for all users.

It is currently setup on an open source (free) Ubuntu Linux server operating system (latest stable distribution at the time of installation in late 2022). It also uses open sources services including Nginx, MySql/MariaDB, PHP, certbot SSL (auto-renewed), Sendmail and MediWiki.

onehouse.top and ePangea.top were each registered for 10yrs for around 100$. This is only because .TOP is one of the cheapest top-level domains available, nothing more. OneHouse.top is running on a virtual server that my brother rented and gifted to a friend who created a few startups that pursue SEG goals.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime if you care to troubleshoot, discuss, recommend andor coordinate any fix or change that you may deem necessary. This way we can ensure a smooth operation for everyone involved.

The little Wikipedia Engine that Could...

Wikipedia has leveraged MediaWiki to help humanity compile the largest and most comprehensive collection of human knowledge known to wo/man. It holds information about practically everything we have learned and documented over the history of our human existence, universally and inclusively acquired from all areas of the world simply by accepting input from anyone who is willing to contribute any evidence-based facts.

We can use this same MediaWiki platform to design the unknown. So, instead of writing about our history the way Wikipedia does, OneHouse can collect input about our universally inclusive future. How would we all envision it to be? How would we design the best version of life on earth if we had the ability to do so? What does "World Peace" actually look like if it were achievable even if only in a dream? If we want to reach a goal in anything that we do, we first need to define what this goal actually is. That, is in short, the essence of this movement and the idea behind this proposal; this Blueprint.

Though Wikipedia is not perfect, it still remains the greatest encyclopedia ever created, drowning out all of its predecessors which include Britannica and Yongle. Not to mention that in contrast to the approach our philanthropist friend Bill Gates took with Microsoft Encarta (and all other Microsoft software released during the decades that I grew up in), Wikipedia has always remained freely accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime, and at zero cost to any user. It is financed solely by those who willingly and voluntarily choose to donate and support this radical movement towards democratizing access to information; instead of restricting such access to specific authors and select consumers, in however many profitable ways possible.

"If there's a will, there's a way", right? So just how badly do we want world peace? Or do we prefer dismissing the idea as a fleeting utopian dream, then complain and cry about all the injustices in the world? If the latter makes more sense, then please go back to sleep. If there is even an ounce of desire to do something, to make everyone's life better, then let's get serious about it! All initiatives and endeavours begin with a goal.

Long Term Sustainability

I can sustain the costs of this dialogue server for the time being. I don't suspect it will escalate by much.

If everyone agrees on the benefits of achieving the goals outlined by this universally inclusive movement, we can eventually reroute and repurpose parts of national and international shared service funds, such as (trendily misused) Foreign Aid and UN budgets, directly into transparent and globally administered platforms like this one. We can then collectively and cooperatively manage these funds, with zero access to singular personal use, to facilitate our progress by funding the necessary elements we define, such as the free, quality human learning initiative.

Isn't it time that we humans start investing in ourselves by building solutions that help us improve our lives on a global scale? The logic is simple; a very simple equation that can hardly ever be argued regardless of selflessness or selfish motives: The better off my neighbour, the better off that I am too; for she or he will be less desperate to make drastic decisions that may have negative impacts on everyone, including me.

Or should we remain scared of the oppressive neighbour and continue investing our tax money into military budgets that create destructive tools which we, the masses end up using to kill one another? Or which end up giving further power to single entities andor representatives that have paramount'ly failed their majorities time and time again throughout our recent (and not-so-recent) history, in so many regions around the world? Which flags do they want this or that group/tribe/affiliation to be cheered on andor supported today? Are we not tired of this never-ending game?
